- Advertising Platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google, Apple Search Ads, Snapchat): Ad spend, impressions, clicks, conversions, and campaign performance metrics

We do not store your third-party login credentials. We use OAuth tokens provided by connected services.

PROFITDASH DATA RETENTION AND DISPOSAL POLICY

1. PURPOSE

This policy defines how ProfitDash retains, manages, and disposes of user data in compliance with applicable data privacy laws including CCPA and GDPR.

2. DATA CATEGORIES AND RETENTION PERIODS

3. DATA DISPOSAL PROCEDURES

3.1 User-Initiated Deletion

- Users may delete their account at any time through the app settings

- Upon deletion request, all user data is permanently removed within 30 days

- Connected third-party tokens (Plaid, Stripe, Meta, TikTok) are revoked immediately

3.2 Automatic Disposal

- Expired authentication tokens are automatically purged

- Cached financial data is refreshed on each app session (not stored long-term)

3.3 Technical Implementation

- Data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) with encryption at rest

- Deletion is performed via Firebase Admin SDK

- Backups are excluded from containing PII or retained for maximum 30 days

4. THIRD-PARTY DATA

Data received from third-party services (Plaid, Stripe, PayPal, Meta, TikTok) is:

- Used only for displaying financial insights to the user

- Not sold or shared with other third parties

- Deleted when the user disconnects the service or deletes their account

5. USER RIGHTS

Users may request:

- Access to their data

- Correction of inaccurate data

- Deletion of their data

- Export of their data

Requests are fulfilled within 30 days.

6. POLICY REVIEW

This policy is reviewed annually or when significant changes occur to data handling practices.
